The Timmerman Traverse team is hiking to fight poverty and increase access to opportunity, especially through areas we know best - the biosciences. And the team is hiking together as a reminder that we all are a part of a connected community. If we develop life-changing medicines then the people who need them must be able to get access; talented and committed colleagues from any background should have the opportunity to bring their talent and commitment to solving the challenges in the biosciences; treatments must be developed in a way that represents the kaleidoscope of humanity.
